Health and Safety Update

Vaccination Policy

Effective Summer 2024, Juilliard will no longer require that students, faculty, staff, and guest presenters/guest artists be vaccinated against COVID-19. This policy update also applies to participants in Juilliard’s summer programs.

What to do if you test positive or are exposed to COVID-19

Juilliard students, staff, and faculty who test positive for COVID-19 are no longer required to report their test results to the school.

Should you have COVID-19 symptoms or test positive, please follow CDC guidance and consult with a health care professional for further instructions regarding appropriate testing, isolation, and treatment. Students, faculty, staff, and guests are also highly encouraged to follow CDC guidelines on testing if they are exposed to or are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms and should plan to notify their contacts directly if they do test positive.

Faculty and staff should contact their healthcare providers with any COVID-related questions, and students should contact Health Services at [email protected].

While masking is no longer required at Juilliard, individuals reserve the right to wear a mask at any time. High-quality masks will continue to be available at the Public Safety desk for anyone who needs one.
